September 1, 2007 marked the opening of North Austin Urology. Nineteen years later, that small beginning has grown into Urology Specialists of Austin, a 70+ person team serving patients throughout Central Texas.
As we celebrate 19 years, we’re not just celebrating an anniversary. We’re celebrating the patients who have trusted us with their care, the families we’ve served, and the incredible team that makes it all possible.
From One Practice to Four Austin-Area Locations
Over the past 19 years, Urology Specialists of Austin has continued to grow so we can provide convenient, comprehensive care to more patients.
Today, our practice has four locations in Round Rock, Lakeline, South Austin, and Dripping Springs, allowing patients throughout the Austin area to access specialized urologic care close to home.
Our team has also grown significantly, with urologists, advanced practice providers, medical assistants, patient care coordinators, surgery schedulers, billing specialists, clinical leaders, and administrative teams all working together behind the scenes.
Because excellent healthcare takes more than a provider in an exam room. It takes an entire team.
More Than Traditional Urology
As medicine continues to evolve, so has Urology Specialists of Austin.
Our goal is to look at the whole patient, not just a single symptom, and provide care that addresses the many aspects of urologic and overall wellness.
Our services have expanded to include areas such as men’s health, pelvic floor health, wellness and lifestyle support, advanced urologic treatments, and minimally invasive procedures.
Our Interventional Radiology program has also brought innovative, image-guided treatments to our patients, providing additional minimally invasive options for certain conditions.
We’re proud to continue exploring new ways to help patients achieve better health and quality of life.
The People Behind Your Care
When you visit Urology Specialists of Austin, you may see your physician or APP, but there is an entire team working behind the scenes to support your care.
Our medical assistants keep clinics moving smoothly. Our patient care coordinators welcome you and help navigate your appointments. Our call center keeps patients connected to the care they need. Our surgery schedulers coordinate the many details involved in surgical care, while our billing and administrative teams help keep everything running behind the scenes.
We are also incredibly proud of our Medical Assistant program, where many of our MAs are pursuing careers as future physicians, physician assistants, and other healthcare professionals.
Our team isn’t just caring for patients today, we’re helping build the future of healthcare.
Taking Men’s Health Beyond the Clinic
Healthcare education is another important part of what we do.
Through The Armor Men’s Health Show, our team brings conversations about men’s health, urology, wellness, and lifestyle beyond the walls of our clinics.
We believe patients should feel informed and empowered to ask questions and take an active role in their health.
