Marcia O’Brien, DNP, APRN, FNP-C, has resided in Round Rock, Texas, for over three decades. She obtained her Associate’s Degree in Applied Science in Nursing (ADN) from Austin Community College in 2009 and her Bachelor’s Degree in Science in Nursing (BSN) from Lamar University in 2012, where she distinguished herself through numerous academic accolades. In 2016, she pursued her Master’s Degree in Science in Nursing (MSN) at the University of Texas at Tyler, where she successfully obtained her Family Nurse Practitioner certification. Most recently, in 2023, she completed her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) at the University of Texas at Austin, maintaining a remarkable 4.0 GPA throughout her academic journey. Her doctoral dissertation centered on the comprehensive management of chronic prostatitis.

Throughout her nurse practitioner career, Marcia has specialized in urology, possessing experience in various areas such as benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), hormone management, overactive and neurogenic bladder, men’s sexual health, and kidney stones and infection prevention.

In her leisure time, Marcia loves baking and cooking, and enjoys traveling with her significant other, Daniel, and their sons, Ayden and Daniel Jr.
