We are writing to share an important update regarding your care. Dr. Jordan Krieger will be leaving Urology Specialists of Austin, with her last day being September 30, 2025. While we are truly sad to see her go, we are also excited for her as she begins a new chapter of life just south of Austin.
Dr. Krieger has been a valued member of our team, and we are incredibly thankful for the dedication, warmth, and expert care she has provided to so many of our patients. Her presence will be deeply missed by both patients and staff, and we wish her nothing but happiness and continued success in her next endeavor.

Get to know board-certified urologist, Dr. Jordan Krieger
Dr. Jordan Krieger is a general urologist and native Texan who moved back to the Austin area after completing her urology residency at the University of Wisconsin in Madison. During her time in the Midwest, Dr. Krieger excelled as a chief resident, where she trained under renowned endourologist and kidney stone expert Dr. Stephen Nakada. She presented her research on benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) as well as Thulium laser ureterocele excision at the American Urological Association, and was also awarded Best Resident Presentation at the Wisconsin Urological Society for her discussion on the role of osteocalcin in testosterone production.
She attended the University of Texas at Austin for her Bachelor of Science degree, where she double majored in Radio-Television-Film and Microbiology, graduating on the Dean’s List with Highest Honors. She then went on to earn her M.D. from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, where she was mentored by renowned men’s sexual health expert Dr. Larry Lipshultz, leading to publications on the role of shockwave therapy in Peyronie’s disease and erectile dysfunction.

Dr. Jordan Krieger has many medical interests
Dr. Krieger has a wide breadth of interests and treats both male and female urologic conditions. She is one of the few surgeons in the Austin area with the ability to perform Holmium laser enucleation of the prostate (HoLEP), a minimally invasive outpatient surgery for bothersome urinary symptoms due to prostate enlargement. Dr. Krieger also offers UroLift as an alternative BPH treatment for men who are concerned about sexual side effects. Additionally, her interests include complex kidney stones, sacral neuromodulation for overactive bladder and urge incontinence, robotic and laparoscopic surgery for prostate and kidney cancer, and low testosterone.
In her free time, Dr. Krieger enjoys film and music festivals, stand up comedy, and Texas football. Hook ‘em!
